Salted Caramel Popcorn & Marshmallow Bundt Cake Recipe!
This is great for parties or any time. Remember… It’s not a party without POPCORN!
Not only is this recipe super easy, ridiculously delicious, has popcorn and marshmallow BUT it ALSO requires no baking!
The most delicious combination of gooey, salty, crunchy, sweet, Chocolaty-ness!
This cake always reminds me of that hilarious scene from MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING...
Maria: What is it?
Harriet: Its a bundt
Maria: A bun?
Harriet: A bundT
Maria: A bondt?
Harriet: BUNDT BUUNDT!!
Maria: I know, its a cake-y!
Maria (to friend): There's a hole in this cake.
Makes | 1 Bundt cake
Preparation time | 20 minutes
Setting time | 1 hour
INGREDIENTS
2 sheds of Salted Caramel Gourmet Popcorn
3 tbsp unsalted butter (and a bit more for greasing)
300g dark chocolate (split into half 150g)
200g of vanilla marshmallows (we used La Maison Guimave Marshmallows)
EQUIPMENT
Bundt cake tin
Wooden spoon
Glass bowl
Big plastic bowl
Wooden spoon
METHOD
Prepare bunt tin by greasing with butter.
Melt the butter, 150g dark chocolate and marshmallows together in a saucepan on a low heat.
Gentle stir until the marshmallow has fully melted and is smooth.
Pour Salted Caramel Popcorn into a mixing bowl and pour the marshmallow mixture over the popcorn. Stir with a wooden spoon until all popcorn is coated.
Pour into bunt case and press popcorn mixture down so that it’s compact.
Melt the remaining 150g of dark chocolate in a glass bowl over a boiling saucepan.
Drizzle melted chocolate around the popcorn mixture bake and if there are any gaps around the side.
Place into the fridge to set.
Serve and enjoy!
