Popcorn Crusted Chicken Recipe
We thought it was time for something a bit different. A savoury recipe! Who knew Popcorn could be used to make chicken even more tasty.
INGREDIENTS
40g (2 bags) Popcorn Shed Sea Salted Mini Pop!
400g chicken breast mini fillets
1 egg
40g plain flour
Oil for frying
METHOD
Blitz the popcorn in a food processor and transfer to a bowl.
Whisk the egg in a second bowl.
Add the flour to a third bowl.
Dip a chicken strip into the flour, then the egg and finally the popcorn.
Repeat until all the chicken strips are covered.
Heat the oil on a medium heat.
Fry the chicken strips for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serve with a dip and enjoy!
