Game Set… Popcorn Shed Marshmallow Popcorn Balls
This is the perfect snack to 'serve' while watching Wimbledon!
And there's no baking involved!
Ingredients:
120g butter
200g of unpopped kernels produces enough popcorn for this recipe
250g of marshmallows
You can add some flavouring if you think it's needed
Method:
Line two large baking trays with baking paper.
Pop kernels to make popcorn. We used mushroom popcorn kernels and an air popper but you can use any popcorn that you have available.
Lightly grease a large bowl with a little butter and put popped popcorn inside a greased bowl.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter and the marshmallows on low heat. Stir constantly until the marshmallows are fully melted and the mixture is blended well.
Remove butter and marshmallow mixture from the heat and pour over the popcorn, make sure you stir quickly and combine evenly.
Allow to cool slightly.
With lightly greased hands take popcorn marshmallow mixture and form popcorn into balls and place on baking paper lined trays.
Let popcorn balls cool until firm. Then ‘Serve’
